Building Your Network

Your network is one of the most powerful components in your professional repertoire.  It has powerful influence on your:

  • Personal/professional development
  • The ability to find rewarding work and assignments
  • Play and perform at a higher level
  • Well being

We tend to become like those we hang out with.  The lesson: Associate yourself with those who are headed where you are heading or are at where you want to be.  Not that you drop who you know now, but you prioritize people that you admire, and by that association you become more like them. We will also help you with the mechanics of 'managing' the process, storage and development of your network. Networking isn't just about contacts, rather the notion of building, nurturing and serving your network, and from that view of helping, your network rewards you.
